Ahoy!
I’m Emily and it’s my pleasure welcoming you to the maiden voyage of EmPowers!
I spent well over a decade creating and delivering intervention projects in tens of schools around London and Kent. Although each individual brief may have been unique, the goal was the same; discover why children weren’t engaging in their classes and help them find ways of learning that made them want to get involved and be invested in themselves.
Many young people don’t find success comes easily to them in traditional, institutional learning environments, but with understanding, support and creative encouragement to look at things differently, they can (and do!) thrive.
As I’ve got older, I realised my mum was right, and I can’t actually be everywhere at once, but I can teach more people how to look at perceived stuck situations in a new way and create a plan to cooperatively navigate any blocks you and the kids you care for may be facing.
And that all starts here and now.
Well, once I’ve got my 40th out of the way.
I’ll soon be launching programs for parents, carers, teachers and anyone else wanting to invest in their relationships with the future world leaders in their life, whilst supporting them to flourish and grow.
